Roald Dahl is one of the most iconic children’s authors of all time. Dahl wrote classics like James and The Giant Peach, The BFG, Matilda, and many more. He’s seen a few of his iconic books come to life through famous film adaptations as well. His granddaughter Sophie Dahl was probably inspired by her grandfather’s works. Her mother, and Dahl’s daughter Tessa, was also a writer. Sophie had enough inspiration and advice available to succeed as a writer if she so chose. She ended up doing just that. Sophie Dahl has written bestsellers like The Man With The Dancing Eyes, Playing With Grown Ups, and Miss Dahl’s Voluptuous Delights. The latter is a collection of two cookbooks. That shows that she branched out from the kid’s genre to diversify from her grandfather.
