Helen McCrory was married to co-actor Damian Lewis, and they tied the knot in 2007. The couple has two adorable children.

The actress was born in London and is the daughter of a diplomat and a physiotherapist. She grew up here and there, and they never really settled in one place. She and her husband have portrayed a real-life loving couple for all their fans. 

She began her career with theatre acting. Her acting skills were tremendous, and she won many awards in her career. Her classical work for playing ‘’Rose Trelawney’’ in ‘’Trelawney of the Wells’ got her acclaim among critics. 

Meanwhile, she continued to entertain people from all over the world. She had a large fan base due to the vast diversity she showed as an actress. 

Her journey has been an incredible one. Helen McCrory was famous for her incredibly iconic roles of Aunt Polly in ‘’Peaky Blinders”. She also played Narcissa Malfoy, starring in three ‘’Harry Potter’’ films. Some of her other hits were ‘’Skyfall’’ and ‘’The Special Relationship’’. 

Every movie of hers was totally different and epic. The lady was a very positive and fierce person who took her work seriously. Throughout her acting career, she gave some extremely memorable performances. She was awarded the OBE ‘’Officer Of The Order Of The British Empire’’ in 2017. What an outstanding achievement!

The most talented person and actress, Helen McCrory, died at the age of 52. She battled with the deadly disease cancer for a long time. The couple had kept this information very private. 
A few weeks ago, she made an appearance on a morning show where she talked about her charity work for the Princess’s Trust organization.

“I’m heartbroken to announce that after a heroic battle with cancer, the beautiful and mighty woman that is Helen McCrory has died peacefully at home, surrounded by a wave of love from friends and family.”

Co-Stars Share Their Sorrow

Peaky Blinders co-actor, Cillian Murphy, wrote; 

“I am broken-hearted to lose such a dear friend. Helen was a beautiful, caring, funny, compassionate human being. She was also a gifted actor – fearless and magnificent.”

Harry Potter author JK Rowling paid her tributes, said that it was “simply heartbreaking news”.

The National Theatre’s director Rufus Norris said she was “unquestionably one of the great actors of her generation”.

He further said, “With her incisive wit and ferocious intelligence, she was one of our most charismatic and distinctive performers. She was also a deeply beloved member of this theatre’s broader community. All my colleagues join me in wishing her family and friends our deepest condolences. We are shattered and will all miss her terribly.”

Amid her many tributes, she got one special mention from Almeida Theater, where she had performed millions of times! 

Definitely, this is a tragic and shocking death for everyone. Nobody knew what she was suffering from, yet she was bravely fighting with it. 

Helen McCrory was a star, and she will always be a star. Our best thoughts are with the family and friends at this sad time!
