If you own a dog, you probably know that good grooming is essential for its health. It may not seem like an obvious health tip initially, but good grooming helps the skin breathe and leave pores unblocked. Healthy grooming techniques also lead to better circulation of blood. Depending on the dog’s coat’s size, the grooming will either have to be extensive or mild.
However, some dogs can look like different creatures entirely before and after they get groomed due to neglect or abandonment. Some transformations can be more shocking than others!
A Distinguished Scholar

The dog in the top left corner looks like an entirely different one. He looks lost there and like someone who struggles to find the answers he needs. The dog in the other three frames, however, is distinguished and masterful. He looks like a K9 who has seen and done it all and now offers others his wisdom. The only thing missing from this distinguished figure is a smoking pipe to complete the look. The Sherlock Holmes of dogs, if you will.
Time to Get My Act Together

This transformation is the epitome of transitioning from your teen years into adulthood. The dog on the left is carefree, living life a day at a time. He has not digested the amount of responsibility he has to bear going forward. After the transformation, he almost looks like he mourns and misses his past life. Look at the heartbreak in those eyes. Hang in there, Mr. Doggo. Moving forward, there might be fewer treats, but you’ll get used to it, eventually.
Contemplating Life

We’ve all been at this dog’s pre-transformation stage. Those naps where you wake up after hours not knowing what century you’re in hit different. We can delve into the symbolism of this one unnecessarily too. The dog’s shed hair, in this case, could symbolize its confusion. After transformation, the dog is sure of itself and knows what he wants from this cruel world. Or, you know, maybe he just hadn’t been groomed and it needed to be done badly. Could be either one.
