Known as Pornhub’s most-searched-for star, Mia Khalifa is now playing a totally different tune in her life. Mia quit the adult entertainment industry after serving for almost six years. Currently, the former porn star is working as a model and a sports presenter.
Apart from her two jobs, Mia also runs an OnlyFans account where the ex-porn star recently posted a seductive topless photo. With 22.7 million followers, the photo surely made her OnlyFans account explode. The juicy photo also gave fans false hope that Mia might be returning to porn after all. Read ahead to find out more about Mia’s exciting endeavors.
Little was left to the imagination after Mia posted a picture of herself posing topless on Mexico’s beach. As a caption to the photo, the pornstar turned sports presenter wrote, “Alexa, play Dakiti. Physically I’m home, but mentally I’m in paradise taking pics for Only Fans.”
People thought posting a topless photo might be a hint of her returning to the porn industry. Unfortunately for them, Mia has no such intentions. She posted this photo just to promote her page and gain more followers. Upon being asked about the photo, Mia replied, “Even though I will not be creating nude content, I am going to be treating this page like my Instagram without terms of service.”
After Khalifa got engaged to Swedish chef Robert Sandberg, Mia decided to bid farewell to the porn industry. She worked as a pornstar for six years and made a total of eleven adult films during her time.
Mia faced many hardships during her time in the industry. However, her quitting the industry wasn’t enough to take the limelight off of her. Several porn sites continued playing her old videos, making people believe that she is still active in the world of porn. As a result, concerned followers began the “Justice for Mia Khalifa” petition that demanded removing all of her old videos from the internet.
Mia Khalifa has always been vocal about her short but terrible experience in the porn industry. While she was never against the work, she claimed that the industry’s nature was very exploitative. Often pressured into making controversial videos, Mia had no option but to quit. One time, Mia had to wear a hijab throughout an adult film. These kinds of acts not only negatively impacted her image but also her mental health. She stated that her “porn days” will haunt her for the rest of her life.
Apart from being bullied over these videos to date, Mia also received many death threats from the terrorist group ISIS. Further displaying her sentiments, Mia suggested that women who want to become pron stars should simply do it on their own terms rather than have a company decide for them.
