We humans have become very arrogant when it comes to our creations. Little do we know that nature will swiftly glide through and completely take over with one wrong step. Yes, our machinery may be advanced, our structures might be strong, but nature has its own grip on the world and can, within a blink of an eye, reclaim what once belonged to it. To prove our point, take a look at the following photos where nature has single-handedly won the war against civilization.
The war between nature and concrete has been going on forever. Concrete jungles have mostly taken over the streets, leaving nature behind. In this case, however, it’s pretty evident who’s winning the battle. Trees are the world’s largest living organisms. They collect massive amounts of energy from the sun, which helps them to grow rapidly. The hand-laid tiles are no match against the strong roots of the tree. These roots have probably plucked the tiles out of the ground by now!
What would you do if you wake up one day and see this in your house? This picture shows an abandoned beach house. The sand swooped inside, making the room look like a deserted desert. You can see how the sand has rightfully taken over the house. If you look at this picture in-depth, the blue-colored walls and the sand give it a very realistic beach effect. What we see here is a literal example of a beach house.
Peek-a-boo! I see you! Yes, this little plant came out as a surprise. The weedling crawled through the pipes and came out of the drain just to say hello. Maybe, it had cruel intentions. The plant might have come with a warning that it may take over the house if the owner didn’t meet its demands. This is also how most alien movies start with a pod hanging from here or a weed popping out from there. Piece of advice, make sure you keep an eye on this plant’s every move!
