The Irony

Children do love their parents. All they want to do is help their folks in any way they can, even if that means taking their favorite book and destroying it. It’s not their fault that they don’t know that water will ruin the book. That’s too much science for them already. In this case, it’s the thought that counts. The irony of it all is that the book is about how to babyproof your marriage. I think the couple is already too late for that to happen. The book should’ve also had a built-in way to babyproof itself. That way, maybe it would still be readable after being doused in water.
Even Santa Has His Off Days

This picture is as cute as it is hilarious. It also proves that parenting is not an easy game. Santa Claus is supposed to be awake all night on Christmas night since he has to deliver presents. However, it doesn’t look like anyone got presents this Christmas. Santa will now have to deliver them on Boxing Day. It doesn’t have the same feel to it, but it’s not Santa’s fault. Santa’s age is finally catching up with him. Putting a child to sleep is hard work. The people who didn’t get their presents on time will understand.
You Must Make Sacrifices

New parents rarely get to enjoy some downtime and indulge in activities they enjoy. It’s not easy to do with young children since they demand your attention around the clock. However, this father is probably a very good negotiator. He’s found a great hack to play the video game he’s been dying to play for months. However, parenthood is nothing without its sacrifices. Having painted toenails? It seems like a small price to pay for finally getting some me-time.
